I ...This is actually a kind of a spontaneous shot. I was shooting sunrise (posted earlier) at this jetty. I had taken many shots, so I satisfied and packed the gear and turn back. Well, what I saw was this amazing warm colour and shadow of jetty (and me). I took few more shot before return to the accommodation just behind. Another reason that we have to always carry/ready the camera, I guess.<BRBen Nakagawahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01362171644695652901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32106829.post-31260967611552827202007-06-29T21:54:00.000+12:002007-06-29T21:54:00.000+12:00Wow, Ben! This one really stands out from your usual shots due to its diagonal thrust making it quite dynamic compared to your restful, peaceful more static shots. It catches the eye not only because of that but also the lovely warm morning light. The shadows of the jetty add a dimension of meaning and another aspect of interest. Great to see a different expression from you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32106829.post-89560265496978357302007-06-29T21:14:00.000+12:002007-06-29T21:14:00.000+12:00Cheers, Kris. I see the potential of abstract once you mentioned. It is not so large rock through, just next to the jetty and the shadow of the jetty on the surface. (I took this with 50mm lens = 75mm in 35mm equiv) so you can figure how close it is.Ben Nakagawahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01362171644695652901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32106829.post-18564360672043312552007-06-28T08:44:00.000+12:002007-06-28T08:44:00.000+12:00Enlarged, the layers in the rock look very interes...Enlarged, the layers in the rock look very interesting.
