Aha! Spurwinged plovers challenging the lamb. Some years ago they had a pair nesting on a grass landing strip and the top dressing plane had to stop working as the birds would rush at the plane to protect their nest. I am no sure the lamb would like the "play". Great shot! Lesley Expat Kiwi
I cropped to zoom up a a bit since I haven't carried my longest tete. It was so fun to watching those little one running around , jumping and back to the side of adult.
One bird was dancing for another at the time, but this little lamb got some interest and as a result, The lamb got threaten. Well, I think there was a not much success, by the way.
