LR4 = LightRoom 4? What are you think about it? I read just now what automatic convertion from old process (LR3 - 2010) to new process (LR4 - 2012) can change view of photos. Also I want to inform you what your rss test working fine :) I am reading your posts through rss :)
Yes LightRoom 4. I'm waiting the package and expected to receive it soon. ( I opted physical package). Meantime, I'm trying out the downloaded 30 day trial whcih is exactly same as packaged version.
Catalogue can be converted from LR3 and it saves different same. So the LR3.6 catalogue is not touched. Each photo is still using 2010 process model unless you convert them to 2012. You can do this individually or by the group of photos.
When I convert this it shows tiny bit brighter. Another one feels got a little wider DR range. I like those adjustment slider in the centre at default. Overall, I like the enhancement they made.
My old images are stay at 2010 process model unless I reprocess fro some reason.
