  1. Very well framed street scene, the point of view and composition work well and the colored banner looks good in the b&w image. I do however find the cut off third pedestrian and the man's shadow at the bottom left corner a little distracting, tending to lead the eye out of the scene at that point, but of course we can't always have people cooperate and arrange themselves appropriately for our photo compositions; it would have been great if the man had his head turned towards the banner.

  2. Gosh it IS an ugly building, isn't it? After 12 years I thought I got used to it, but seen like this, it's hideous. Is it a giant milk bottle? A rocket? Or a phallic symbol? And have you ever climbed up the stairs inside? Yikes.

  3. Thanks Gavin.
The 3rd parson you mentioned here is what I was thinking to remove by photoshop but I decided not touch this time.
I agree that is little distracting but I probably still keeping the shadow. Tanks fro constructive comment. Appreciated.

Meg, I think a 60's cube like building (ie.Court, Doc, Police complex) are much more boring in general. This one is probably not an elegant one, but I think it has some sort of character include ugliness to many people. ;-)
