Nelson, New Zealand

Nikon D200

Shooting into the SUN and I've got quite bit of flare, despite of using lens hood and so on.

  2. Ben, I love this! So many great elements included in it. The light and atmosphere are magic. The chains, posts and shadows make a very pleasing border leading around the right hand side. The textures in the sand are beautiful. Even though the misty atmosphere has softened the landscape, the high contrast made with the highlights on the wet sand and water gives strength to the scene. Love the tree on the cliff top, the distant structures of the port and the shafts of light. An absolutely stunning photo in my opinion.
