Nikon D200
AF Micro-Nikkor 60mm F2.8
Tamron SP AF 2X Teleconverter (300F)
F10(F20), 0.8sec, ISO-100
A flash : The SB24 in manual mode (1/16 power, 50mm zoom position) applied.

This is an experiment/practice with both macro and flash application.

Before B&W conversion:

  1. Nah, its 330 ohms x 3. I like the light and shadow but as an abstract image, I find the white overlay lines at the left to be leading my eye out of the picture. I guess that that little detail was not part of the aim of the experiment.

  2. No, It wasn't, Gavin.
Now I'm thinking more crop for both side might be better for composition wise but this shows approx what area was covered as I cropped the top and bottom to eliminate other components.
