  2. I'm trying to pick where that church is. After 40+ years away my geriatric memory is only partially engaged. It looks a bit like St Josephs, but I dont remember a lawn and trees there. Its not the Presbytarian in Bridge St. I'm guessing the church on the road out of Richmond to Brightwater.

  3. It's a Nelson central School's ground. the church in background is Trinity Church.

  4. I knew it looked familiar. I was at Central School in Standard 1 (in 1960). You could barely hear yourself in spring for the noise from the cicadas feasting beneath the oaks.
