This is same place, same time just a different angle.
I was walking on the street in this early morning with my camera hanging around my neck. I was going back and forth to take particular this shot. Suddenly, a police officer calling me from the inside of fence of this big house behind me. She asked few questions like "What I'm doing?", "Why taking photo? What is that for?", "if I'm from media or some organisation" and so on.
Well, that big house is The Premier House, I guess our PM was there on that day or at least the day before. She (Police Officer) was just doing her job but that was a bit of surprise. I believe there is a lots of tourists taking photo around this street and I wasn't even look at The Premier House (no appeal for me from that side anyway).
That happens a lot over here; I'm careful not to photograph schools or government buildings if I can help it.
ReplyDeleteLast December on a trip to my home town in Louisiana, I walked around the campus of the high school I had attended when I was a teenager and took photos. I put my driver's license in my shirt pocket to have it handy because I fully expected a policeman to stop and speak to me, but none did.
It's good idea, John.
ReplyDeleteI also always carry Driver's Licence in my wallet. She didn't ask any of those photo identity but asking where I'm staying and my current address, phone and web site address I'm likely posting the photo: I mentioned what to do with my photo because I was asked that particular question. Again, she's just doing her job, so quite understandable.
I'm not sure if they checking the site but I'm sure they find this site is harmless.
