Capers - 窓越し

Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand

Nikon D200
Tamron SP AF 17-50mm F2.8 XR Di II @ 17mm
F5.6, 1/350, ISO-100

  1. For me, this scene with its long shadows, conveys the clear air and light of the lower latitudes. I once lived in Tasmania and this brings shot back the feeling of southern parts for me. Even the architecture and terrain contribute to that sense.

  2. Very nice work, love the perspective.

  3. Perfect framing, the town and its atmosphere live on!

  4. We had a breakfast there on last day in Dunedin and sitting at the front counter seat. Easy snap but sort of difficult ligating at the time but I'm happy with outcome.

  5. I add some fill light to the image mainly because it was too dark on the print, I finally produce.
This version may lost strong contrast of the shadow laid on the asphalt, but close to what the human see as a scene.
