  1. A fine shot. I really like the low lighting with the long shadows.

  2. Ben, love your evening shadows on the interesting textures. This almost has a western feel to it. I expect to see some cowboys riding down the road.

  4. Nice one Ben! Love the deep, rich sky. The light and shadow is great - especially the shadows of the bowsers on the door.

Yeah this is absolutely beautiful! Perhaps more so for me in that I can relate to knowing and seeing this similar type of scene in rural townships (blinks) around the Waikato.
The light/aperture control is superb Ben! Wonderful graduation of hue in the sky and the depth of tones in the foreground perfect in relating a sense of dimension and depth.
I'm reminded specifically of the little towns on surf highway between New Plymouth and Hawera where little towns like Manaia, Okato and Oeo have garages very similar to this.

  6. Thanks Ndiginiz.
I love those oldish garage in small town. They all have those and so the different characters in each of them. This could be a good set of series shot, if I could correct enough.
I'm glad you all like this shot.
