  1. That's a very distinctive plant growing up the wall of the vineyard and sensibly offset to one side of your composition. I wonder did you try other angles for this one Ben? I thought it might be interesting to compare a square on shot with this slightly angled one.

    Actually, This one is a result of quite heavy cropping. I initially included the sign of the vineyard to position the first shot of the set. I changed my mind because it is not quite right. My wife took the square one and posted in her blog ( not a woman in few words), which I quite like.
    The angle one gives me little bit of 3D view on the red vine, I try to clop out the roof but then it cut off the shape, so I left the trace of the angle there.
