Tena koe ehoa Great light in this image Ben, very well managed with a good control of aperture and shutter to get those wonderful rich variations of green.
In looking at this image I kind of wish the previous was a large format panoramic shot[?]
Yet another amazingly beautiful shot. Incredible countryside there. I wouldn't mind being the guy on the motorcycle there.
Of course, since I'm not a motorcycle rider, that would be pretty dangerous for me to do that, and add to it that I'd constantly have to remind myself to drive on the "other" side of the road from what I'm used to...
I really like this. You've taken an ordinary view but with your use of light and the composition have turned the scene into something much more exciting. Lovely job!
Ruth, this shot is actually a result of crop to the panoramic format. I usually make this format by stitching multiple images but this time cropping works very well. This is great country to for landscape photo lovers.
Ndiginiz, panoramic format for previous shot may be a good visual effect as well. But I prefer stitching for that shot to add extra at either side of the image. So I do not lose the large blue sky.
Photowannabe, the road was the main focal point in my mind and the rider just coming alone so I took few shots. This is one of them.
JAM, I don't mind riding motorcycle there, it must be a fantastic experience. I'm to the motorcycle ride as well, but my little two seater 1989 MX-5/Miata would do a trick.
Bob, I do like this shot a lot, too. I'm glad you said that "ordinary view and it can turn to the exciting image", because that what I was always trying.
An incredibly beautiful landscape. No wonder people want to move to NZ. You're SO lucky. Nice panorama.

So much beautiful wide open space. I like the way the road draws the eye into the picture.
