Hi, Thanks for dropping by my Blog up here in Canada, I also am about the same as you having had a film SLR since about late seventies and enjoy photography as a hobby. Now of course I am mainly digital ,My new Pentax K10d should be here any day now, just waiting.
Just noticed on your profile that you have a Canon G3, My digital camera is the Canon G5, for a SLR, I have always had Pentax and have quite a few lenses which will also work on my new Pentax DSLR. With the G5, I have taken around 15000 shots in 3 or 4 years. I may be getting a fancy smancy new camera but that G5 will still be with me for some of my shots
Thanks "OutHouse Capital of Canada". Lucky you for getting k10. G5 was released few month after I pick up my G3. Both good camera and great handling and image quality in it's age. well you can not compare with dSLR through. I have Canon EOS 620 and couple of lenses from early 80's but' not much using now there for not in the my equipment list. My main film equipment is Nikon, so I'm saving for D200 right now. Fuji will release S5 in next year (based on D200). So let's see how it goes.
