  1. Ben this is great and I like the one on the Nelson daily blog as well
    but did you by any chance manage to get a shot with the boat's sail blocking the sun so that it was back lit, it may have helped the mountain details in the background and made for a more moody shot

  2. This is my kind of photograph. I get a peaceful feeling just looking at it. I love the mountains, but my heart belongs where I can see the ocean. Nothing like a sailboat on the water to inspire me to want to travel to other places.

    Unfortunately, I did not took the image that sail blocking the sun.
    This one is just after they change the direction. If I move my setting accordingly, I could be able to take such a shot, but there was a fisherman blocking the way.... My be next chance!
