Thanks, Gavin. I tried 60sec as well (posted at Nelson Daily Photo) as shorter one like 5sec. The 60 sec one does not have this star burst effect, and shorter one does not have a dramatic steam shape like this. I think 30sec is about limit for both this light effect and spreading the steam.
a fine time exposure to obtain this interesting and fairly detailed night shot. Well done.
