  1. I took a photo a while back of a similar object. It's on a pier out into the ocean in case someone falls off and those left behind can throw him a float.

    I'll have to post it soon in honor of yours.

    I think I'm taking those things quite often. Most of pier has those things attached and every one is slightly different.

    Ben I think this is superb! I especially like the vignette and what it adds focally to the image content. The DOF is nothing short of excellent and the depth of hue exact.
    I'm impressed by the progression you're photography has undergone in the last month or two.

    I'm glad you pointed about "vignette", I added this intentionally to make more focus on subject. This one was calling me to do that.
