These virginal colours of autumn look beautiful. The touch of summer's burden lies at the tips of these leaves like a distance infection of baking heat. The transiition of colurs in a full frame is great Ben. Good depth of focus as well.

  2. I really love to come here and see the opposite season from ours. It's strange too. I like the little patches of blue behind these beautiful red leaves. I never tire of seeing leaves in any season, but especially love them in autumn.

  4. I think I know this kind of tree. Lots of them grow in the wild on the Eastern Coast. I think here they exist only in gardens. Fall colours also miss the brilliancy of the colours you seem to enjoy too (have you ever seen the Merchant-Ivory film "The Europeans", was filmed in New England during autumn, breathtakingly beautiful scenery).

  5. Thank you, Merisi.
I haven't seen the film you mentioned, but I'll look up when I had a chance.
